Information & Technology
The Information and Technology Committee is responsible for:
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining the society's website, as well as its presence across different social media platforms.
- Creating and regularly updating patient information leaflets and decision-making aids, ensuring they remain readily accessible on the society's website.
- Developing consent forms, guidance materials for clinicians, and information related to consent for urogynaecological procedures, in collaboration with other relevant organisations.
- Highlighting key developments, news, and achievements related to the society, including work by its members and their accomplishments.
- Contributing to the dissemination of the society's work among both its members and the general public.
- Collaborating with other organisations involved in the management of incontinence and prolapse to raise the society’s profile.
The long-term goal is for the BSUG website and social media platforms to become trusted sources of information, keeping both patients and clinicians in the UK informed about urogynaecological practices, emerging topics, and how BSUG can assist them.
