BSUG: Call for nomination for Treasurer

BSUG is looking for nominations for BSUG Treasurer, the position takes effect from the AGM in November 2025.

This position is for a period of three years and they will be members of the BSUG Executive Committee and the Board and is a Trustee of the Society. To be eligible to stand for Treasurer of BSUG, one should be a full BSUG member, who must have served one year as a Chair of a BSUG sub committee or three years as a Vice Chair, of a sub committee.

If you are interested, you will need to be nominated by a full BSUG Consultant member and seconded by another BSUG full consultant member.

If you would like to nominate a consultant member of BSUG for this post please complete form by: Friday, 1st July by 5pm.

If more than one nomination is received an election will take place before the end of September 2025.

The appointee will work closely with the rest of the BSUG Executive Committee (Chair, Vice-Chair, Honorary Secretary). This is an important role for the Society and responsibilities include:

• Working with the management team on finances for the Society.
• Presenting the Accounts at the AGM.
• Working with the Accountant on good financial governance.
• Managing the Risk Register for the Society.
• Supporting good governance, decision making and work of the Executive Committee.
• Liaison with RCOG, IUGA and EUGA with regard to joint financial initiatives.

Please note only consultants are eligible to nominate consultant members in the process. Elections and voting information will follow, if necessary.
