New RCOG Policy statement on Pelvic floor Health

 The RCOG have today released a policy statement encouraging a life course approach to women’s pelvic floor health. This aims to maximise the benefits of prevention and early intervention to improve outcomes. The policy focuses on education of women and healthcare professionals including nurses, physiotherapists, midwives and doctors and improving access to the professionals particularly specialist urogynaecologists.
