RIP Professor Stuart Stanton

Stuart was a founding member of the Research Urogynaecological Society (RUGS), which later became incorporated within the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG), and he was appointed President in 2003. In 2021, Stuart was awarded BSUG Founder Award. Stuart was the first and only President of BSUG and when he resigned the role the role was discontinued as BSUG felt that no-one could take his place.

Stuart will be profoundly missed by his colleagues at BSUG.
