Laparoscopic Urogynaecology

 The operative programme will cover clinical anatomy and advanced laparoscopic skills including laparoscopic suturing skills, both intracorporeal and extracorporeal knotting techniques, laparoscopic colposuspension and a wide range of apical support techniques for pelvic organ prolapse including laparoscopic sacrohysteropexy, lap sacrocervicopexy and lap sacrocolpopexy.

This 2 day intense cadaver course provides hands on practical training with a ratio of 1:2 per cadaver supported by lectures and video presentations with excellent experienced faculty to mentor and facilitate learning on both the days with a ratio of 1:2. The faculty includes urogynaecologist and colorectal surgeon, allowing the trainee easy interaction to maximise their learning opportunities.
